Know your history!
My dear friends,
It’s already May? Oye vey! Where did March and April go? Anyway dolls, last month, the American Cancer Society celebrated National Minority Health month and it’s something we should honor 365 days of the year!
Cancer knows no race, ethnicity, gender, or religion so it’s vital we know our unique risks. When you take steps everyday to reduce your personal cancer risk by avoiding tobacco, eating a healthy diet, exercising regularly and getting the recommended cancer screening tests, you stay well AND you inspire your family and friends to do the same.
So I'm giving you a bit of homework so you can learn how prevention can help save your life and keep you healthy!
