Should I be conducting breast self exams? If so, how do I do it?

Women, beginning in their 20s, should perform monthly breast self exams, five days after your menstrual period ends to help find abnormalities early, if any are present. Finding breast changes does not necessarily mean cancer is present, but you should seek medical attention if you notice a different look or feel to your breasts. Ask your physician to show you the proper way to examine your own breasts and find which method works best for you. You can also find a video instruction here.
