What is a CA-125 test?

A CA-125 test measures the level of a glycoprotein (cancer antigen 125) in the blood which is known to be a tumor marker. A CA-125 blood test may be performed if you are at high risk for ovarian cancer and to monitor cancer treatment. You should speak to your physician concerning your health and risk.
