After surviving uterine cancer, she wrote The New York Times Bestseller Cancer Schmancer, which detailed her long road to a correct diagnosis.

Drescher launched the Cancer Schmancer Movement in 2007, a nonprofit organization dedicated to prevention, early detection and healthy living for those battling cancer.

The East Hampton Studio event will raise money for We The Future, the kid's component of the charity.

"The fundraising event will help that program in educating young people how to make healthier lifestyle choices so we can reverse this predicition that the younger generation of today, for the first time in history, will not outlive their parents."
