I Once Was Dead, But Now I Live

On July 27, 2011, at approximately 2 p.m., I was diagnosed with stage four colon cancer.

What started as a precautionary colonoscopy turned into a life changing diagnosis. I just turned 40 in March, and have absolutely NO HISTORY of cancer on either side of my family. I was given just 6 months to enjoy the rest of my life.

11 months later, I'm still kicking, and cancer free!!
