Ovarian and Uterine Cancer at the age 34

Feb 03 I woke up to a sharp pain of my right side of my belly..
so a little while later felt a little better.. so I got up made coffee.
Then the pain came back but it was to bad, then I felt very nauseated..
All day didn't feel right.. later in the evening I went to use the Bathroom I noticed slight bleeding.
it wasn't heavy, but I was bleeding. I know something is wrong I've had my period the week before..
" I told my Exhusand to take me to the ER.." So We go to the Hosptial.. I told them my symptoms.
Pain, Nausa and vomiting and bleeding.
Had blood test, CT scan and Pelvic.. CT scan found 4cm mass on my left Ovary with fluid in my pelvic..
dignosed: Ovarian cyst burst..
Dr#1 refered by Hospital.. I go to this DR because of my ex husband insurance.. and my Dr was not on the list..
so I go , and explained why I was there.. " he says" everything is going to be ok. come back 6weeks and we'll do an Ultrasound".
6 weeks later back at dr #1 had ultra sound.. results, didn't know what it was but it didn't look good.. Might be bleeding. but going to Order CA125.. the next day I have bloodtest.. few days later got CA125:124.. so I see dr again.. but I needed to have surgery. so i thought I was going to surgery right away. They called me 4weeks later!! DR#2 I call my own GYNO.. I wanted to find out what was wrong with me and my Body.. I explain why I was there.. so he orderd another Ultrasound.. Dignosed. with 6cm mass thought it was an dermoid tumor.. then he tells me he does not do surery anymore but he can recomend an Surgeon..
Dr#3 He is my savor.. I got to the new Dr he is an Oncology/Surgeon.. He orderd an transvagnal ultrasound and another CA125.. He thought it was an demoid turmor, but with the elevated CA125 from the last testing. so he said lets see what the CAr results and the Ultrasound.. A few days later I get a phone call from the nurse.. " I have wonderful news.. The CA125 is 24.. I was soo happy. My surgery Date JULY 22nd 03..
I have the Surgery dignosed with stage 1 Ovarian Cancer.. so they removed the tumor and my ovary..
As I recover from the first surgery I was still bleeding.. so Dr recomened another transvaganl and a DNC so I have the utrasound dignosed thicking on the back of my Uterine wall.. so then I had the biobsy.. Dognosed Stage 1 Uterine Cancer.. I had to have a comlete Hystoretomy. Everything went.. even my appendix..
My 2nd surger was in September 03.. s
Then in OCT03 I began 6rounds of Chemo.. I never had children, I was 34yrs old at the time.
I happy to say I'm now 7yrs survivor.. I"m cancerfree!! I just celebrated my 7yr and I got my self a Butterfly tattoo.. I fought a hard battle but I'm glade to be here. I want to help other women take care and Listen to there bodies.. And Thank you soo much Fran.. I read your book 3 times while I went through my Battle.. you are my hero..
