Urterus Cancer

I would see a dot of blood every once and awhile for almost a year when I went the bathroom. I could not tell if it was vaginal or rectal...it was that little, but it was red. It was barely enough to notice, but I always look because my mother died from Colon Cancer.
I told my regular doctor about the blood he said it was probably nothing, 3 months later I told my Gynecologist, she said it was probably nothing. Four months later I told the Gynecologist again and she said it was probably nothing, I said it's not normal to have any blood. She said she would do a test, but assured me 99% come back normal.
Mine came back Stage 1 Uterus Cancer.
I had chosen to have the DiVinci procedure to remove my Uterus and Lymph nodes. It was a less than 15 minute robotic surgical procedure. I had about 2 weeks of discomfort and that was all.
Know your body. If you need a second opinion go get it.
I am Cancer free.
