Out Now Live, them.’s Virtual Pride Celebration, Is Happening June 22

them. is proud to announce that our annual Pride celebration livestream, Out Now Live, is returning for its second year.

Out Now Live 2021 takes place Tuesday, June 22 at 9 PM EST/6 PM PST, with the festivities streaming on the them. YouTube channel. Hosted by them. Editor in Chief Whembley Sewell, the event will feature appearances from prominent members of the LGBTQ+ community, including activists, celebrities, and artists. They'll be coming together to share uplifting messages and stories, as well as host roundtable discussions on topics like the legacy of resilience throughout queer history, how pride is celebrated around the work, and the power of Black trans activism.

The lineup for this year’s Pride event includes Cyndi Lauper, Hayley Kiyoko, Holland, Jes Tom, Leslie Jordan, Bretman Rock, Alex Newell, and more. Activists and advocates, including TransLash Media founder Imara Jones, G.L.I.T.S. founder Ceyenne Doroshow, and more, will also appear. Check back later for a link to the livestream.

Last year, them. launched our inaugural virtual Pride event in hopes that it would bring about connection and inspiration during a time when in-person celebrations were being cancelled around the world, while others were morphing into demonstrations for racial and social justice.
