$6.5 Million secured for Johanna's Law!

We did it! Thanks to you, the petition went out, and last week, President Bush signed the bill that earmarked $6.5 Million for "Johanna's Law", or the Gynecologic Cancer Education and Awareness Act. Johanna's Law creates a national campaign to educate American women and health professionals about the signs and symptoms of gynecologic cancers. In the United States, there are more than 75,000 newly diagnosed cases of uterine, ovarian, and cervical cancer annually, the three most common gynecologic cancers. This funding will help us reduce those numbers and save countless women and families from the agony of dealing with late stage diagnosis.

Remember, Stage 1 IS the cure! Please let's kick off '08 with a bang by making a donation of $25 or more now. Through education, prevention, and policy change, we are saving women's lives!

Here's wishing you and your loved ones a very happy and healthy new year!

Be well,
