Seven Steps to an Effortless Meditation Experience

 1. Law of Intelligence: Very often, we are filled up with too much information and opinions on something & that gives us the idea of being intelligent. This intelligence can become a big obstacle in your meditation experience. Upanishads have stated that being intelligence is more dangerous than being ignorant. The light of meditation can easily enter into consciousness of an ignorant soul. But an intelligent or highly read person can built big walls of information around him that no light can penetrate. This law simply states that don't let your intelligence interfere with the infinite intelligence of cosmic.

2. Law of Enlightenment: A lot of people connect enlightenment with some sort of super power & that's where enlightenment becomes some psychic phenomena. Enlightenment simply means that you will become empty enough to let the truth enter into you. It simply means that you will become light enough to fly without any weight of ego holding you down. The law of enlightenment encourages you to create the emptiness in you. Create a space so empty that it paves way for the beautiful & powerful thoughts.

3. Law of happiness: Most of us tend to get attracted toward meditation when we are stressed out or face some health issues. However, the best moment to dive in meditation is when we are full of happiness. You can receive great energy from universe when you are full of joy. Sadness or depression won't let you focus on your awareness. It's good to put your wavering mind in times of happiness so that it becomes strong enough to face the times of sadness.

4. Law of Breathing: The pattern of breathing plays a very important role in meditation. If you just practice formula of I-H-E, meaning, inhale-hold-exhale, you will encounter a deep tranquility. The law of breathing tells to inhale your breathe, hold it for few seconds effortlessly, & then exhale it. When you hold your breathe, make sure you are being in the present moment & no sense of competition is going on in you. The more light you feel in those moment of hold, the more power you will generate in your inner self.

5. Law of Thoughts: The law of thoughts states the importance of being thoughtlessness. This can happen when you initiate your meditation with no thoughts in yourself. If thoughts come, simply be the observer of your thoughts. Don't identify yourself with either the thoughts of happiness or sadness. You have to practice being neutral to both happiness and sadness. Watch your thoughts as a movie. Don't react on any scene. Just let it pass by. Know that it all doesn't exist in reality. What exist is you in pure form of consciousness.

6. Law of Intention: Whenever we do anything in life, it starts with an intention. Your intention will manifest your thoughts in reality. It's important to create the right intention in mind. Your intention could be a personal, professional, or spiritual. A meditation without an intention is no less than a journey without a map.

7. Law of Time: Meditation works in zone of timelessness. Don't set timers or alarms to create a disturbance in the beautiful moments of silence. There is no standard time duration for meditation. However, you could sit for a minimum of 24 minutes devoting one minute for the 24 hours of day. Your mind clock will automatically respond after 24 minutes are over.
