There’s an outpouring of support from Hollywood tonight for Angelina Jolie.

Stars are praising Angelina for her "brave" choice to open up in the “The New York Times” about having a preventive double mastectomy in February to reduce her risk of cancer.  Jolie’s stunning revelation is sparking a lot of conversations. So, why go public with such a private battle?

Actress Fran Drescher opens up to Showbiz Tonight about why it’s important to speak out, saying, “I think that Angelina is a very courageous woman.  She’s not a reclusive.  She’s out there.  She wants to help people, her sisters." Drescher went on to say, "[Jolie] is taking what has happened in her life and leveraging her high-profile celebrity for the greater good.  And I applaud her for that.  Because if you’re a celebrity and you don’t leverage it for something, some message that’s for the greater good, you’ve wasted it.”
