HI FRAN, THANK YOU, YOU ARE THE BEST. SHARING YOUR CANCER WITH ALL OF US. I AM A 11 YRS BREAST CANCER SURVIOR. I WENT FOR 2 YEARS WITH A CLEAN BILL OF HEALTH. THE DOCTORS NEVER SAW THE CANCER BEHIND MY NIPPLE. MY DOCTOR OF OVER 20 YRS, SAID IF WAS NOT UNCOMMON TO HAVE A NIPPLE INVERT. EVERYONE WOMAN SHOULD BE AWARE THAT IT IS NOT NORMAL IF YOUR NIPPLE STARTS TO INVERT. I WATCH YOUR NANNY SHOWS EVERY NITE ON NICK AT NICK. I CAN NEVER GET ENOUGH OF YOU AND CHARLES. GREAT CHEMISTRY. LOVE YOU BOTH. BEST WISHES. CD
you have encouraged me to thank god more and more every day from saving my great granmother from cancer and thanking him no one else from my family has had it so far though my grandfather died from cancer. i deeply wish no one has to go through the same pain my family went through. we as peple and families have to watch out for each other and be thankful we are healthy most of my family has diabetes my older brother had it when he was 12 he has had it for about 5 years now he is 17. i ws afraid i would get so it was one of the things that inspired me to change. your battle against cancer encouraged me.i feel lucky you know. not everyone gets what they expect though. but what i learned is you have to work around the edges and try to make the negative to a positive.i have high cholesterol but i try not to eat so much of it. so i try to prevent others to not make the same mistakes and take care of themselves better. you were an idol to me i felt what you been through as if i were there every word u said i imagined as if i were you(except your a huge star haha), so i thought your right we as women as people can make a change and find a cure.no matter how loud or soft the voice is as long as its heard, or how big or small a peron is their still a person. anyone can make a change every soul that is willing is welcome to help make the change. we are the voice and the hearts that have a Rhythm to fight for what is in our sight ... we will find a cure
your biggest fan ,
Leticia Godinez

I read your story today and cried. It was like I wrote it myself, as my story is very similiar. Doctors told me I was healthy, and nothing was wrong with me,
all tests were negative. I even had an emergency doctor kinda laugh at me, and ask me why I was in the hospital I was fine, but I knew in my gut something was not right. Finally a D&C, and a note after surgery your fine, healthy ovaries, tubes, cervix and uterus, come see me in six weeks time. Okay maybe I am crazy, maybe it is all in my head.
Two days later a call from the secretary, doctor wants to see you. So there I sat all weekend worrying why, what happened to the six weeks. Well after hearing months of "nothing wrong with you", I heard cancer cell in the cervix. I was lucky, early detection, stage one.
I'm lucky because I didn't give up, but so many woman ignore, or believe, but we know our own body, and when one says no, go get a second opinion. Don't give up.
You made me laugh on the Nanny and today you made me cry, thank you for sharing your story with all of us.
HI FRAN, YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY THE "BEST", I LOVE YOUR SENSE OF HUMOR. I WAS WORKING THRU THE 90s UNTIL APRIL 6, 1996, ON MY BIRTHDAY, I HAD A SERIOUS FALL, THE DR.S CALLED IT AN "ACUTE FALL" AND WHEN HE TOLD ME THAT, I SAID THERE WAS NOTHING CUTE ABOUT MY FALL. I MADE A FUNNY BUT THE DR. KIND OF RAISED HIS EYE BROW AND CARRIED ON, THATS WHEN I KNEW I WAS IN BIG TROUBLE AND THAT MY CONDITION OF MY BODY WAS IN A SERIOUS STATE. I HAD 12-15 DISC MESSED UP IN MY BACK AND MY TAIL BONE IS THE WORST, I ALSO INHERITED FROM MY MOTHER A BONE DEGENERATION DISEASE. MY BONES ARE AGING MORE AFTER I FELL. THE DR.S SAID THAT MY BONES ARE LIKE THAT OF A 90 YR OLD WOMAN. I FOUND MY LIFE WAS FILLED WITH ALOT OF PAIN AND WITH EACH DAY THAT PASSES IT ONLY GETS WORSE. I WAS 46 YRS OLD WHEN I FELL AND I LOOKED LIKE I WAS 35 YRS OLD. THE NEXT FEW YRS I WENT THRU SOME DEEP, DARK DEPRESSION ALTHOUGH I HID IT PRETTY WELL FROM MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS. NOW ITS BETTER, AS LONG AS I DENIED OR TRIED TO IGNORE MY REALITY OF MY LIFE, IT SEEMED TO KEEP ME IN THAT DARK HOLE. ACCEPTING HAS ALWAYS BEEN A HARD THING FOR THIS OLE IRISH LASS AND MY BEING STUBBORN ONLY MADE IT ALL WORSE SO NOW I ACCEPT AND LIVE WITH PAIN 24/7 SOME DAYS ARE GOOD AND SOME DAYS NOT SO GOOD...
I DON'T KNOW HOW LONG NOW THAT I WATCH THE NANNY BUT IT WAS WONDERFUL AND NOW NICK AT NITE TOOK YOU OFF. I WEAR MY EYE GLASSES ONLY TO WATCH THE NANNY SHOW OR NASSCAR RACING. I CAN SEE WELL ENOUGH BUT I LIKE BEING ABLE TO SEE ALL THE DETAILS. I THINK YOUR SHOW WAS BEFORE ITS TIME CAUSE THE JOKES AND QUICK ONE LINERS ON THE SHOW. WELL NOW I AM ADICTTED TO "THE NANNY" AND NOW THEY DON'T SHOW IT ANYMORE AND I'M MISERABLE. LOVE YOU, FRAN AND TKS FOR THE NANNY. SINCERLY AND ALWAYS YOUR FAN, MARY...
i LOVE the jingle.! fran you are probably one of if not the best role models i have ever known. you inspired me to have my mom take me to the doctor and get my first "big girl" check up and i will continue to do them as long as cancer schmancer is around.! My husband and I both love you and your show. I am a cancer survivor who wears her scars on the outside instead of the inside but know the pain and fear just the same. It used to be you never knew someone with cancer, now it's almost every family and in my case 5 family members.
Prayers and hugs to you in your recent struggle. You are a survivor!!! Always remember that you are the BEST and God don't make no junk.
Mary from Tennessee.

I was given the book, Cancer Schmancer by a cancer survior. I read the book in 2 days. Fran gave me hope and she put a smile on my face. She let me know, things will be okay even when they seem rotten at the time.
I will continue to fight the fight against this deadly disease.
Thanks Fran for your strong and positive outlook.

breast cancer survior
CD
your a true hero
you have encouraged me to thank god more and more every day from saving my great granmother from cancer and thanking him no one else from my family has had it so far though my grandfather died from cancer. i deeply wish no one has to go through the same pain my family went through. we as peple and families have to watch out for each other and be thankful we are healthy most of my family has diabetes my older brother had it when he was 12 he has had it for about 5 years now he is 17. i ws afraid i would get so it was one of the things that inspired me to change. your battle against cancer encouraged me.i feel lucky you know. not everyone gets what they expect though. but what i learned is you have to work around the edges and try to make the negative to a positive.i have high cholesterol but i try not to eat so much of it. so i try to prevent others to not make the same mistakes and take care of themselves better. you were an idol to me i felt what you been through as if i were there every word u said i imagined as if i were you(except your a huge star haha), so i thought your right we as women as people can make a change and find a cure.no matter how loud or soft the voice is as long as its heard, or how big or small a peron is their still a person. anyone can make a change every soul that is willing is welcome to help make the change. we are the voice and the hearts that have a Rhythm to fight for what is in our sight ... we will find a cure
your biggest fan ,

Thank You
I read your story today and cried.
God Bless you Fran.

Fran, you are such an inspiration!!! You never gave up throughout your cancer battle and I would be soooo honored to meet you.
ANOTHER SURVIVER
Great

Strength for the future
My husband and I both love you and your show. I am a cancer survivor who wears her scars on the outside instead of the inside but know the pain and fear just the same. It used to be you never knew someone with cancer, now it's almost every family and in my case 5 family members.
Prayers and hugs to you in your recent struggle. You are a survivor!!! Always remember that you are the BEST and God don't make no junk.
Mary from Tennessee.

haha! tht was clever:) I love Fran and all she's done for women everywhere. I've been doing a lot of research about early signs of different cancers and honestly, I'm a little scared now. Just know, Fran, that you have inspired a 17 yr old girl from "Luzianna" to become a "medical consumer" and take control of my body. Thanks!

Fight the Fight
I was diagonised with Papillary Cancer on Nov 2009.
And was very inspired by Fran's Book. Cancer Schmancer.
It was given to me from a cancer survivor.
We can all beat this, if we fight the fight and believe.
Fran I love you song! You ROCK!

Fran is my hero
I am 40 years old and was diagonised with papllary Cancer in Nov 2009.
