I so support Fran with all she does and all she has been through. She has brought awareness to people who still do now know. We need to kill this disease like it kills our friends and families. We should all continue to do everything we can to help.

Fran, I wanted to say thank you for writing your book Cancer Schmancer. I've had about 8 people in my family be diagnosed with cancer. Many of my aunts have had breast cancer, one of which was a very rare and difficult to diagnose form., mom is at high-risk for colorectal cancer, and my grandpa died of prostate cancer. I've always known that cancer was prevalent in my family and that I was basically a genetic bulls-eye for getting some form cancer at some point in my life, but until I read your book I never thought to really take the time to educate myself. I figured I'm only 16, why should I be worried about all that right now? Now that I've read your book I've realized I need to start educating myself now so I can be prepared later and make sure to catch any cancers I might get in the future at STAGE 1.
