As a future physician and breast cancer survivor, I'd like to give my wholehearted endorsement for Cancer Schmancer. This foundation's work focuses on the most important aspect of cancer treatment: early detection. In almost all women's cancers, a Stage 1 diagnosis ensures a healthy prognosis of survival. In other words, a bright future. The chance to spend a lifetime with a loved one or to see children grow up. I was one of those fortunate women who got diagnosed early, and because I know how incredibly wonderful it is to make a full recovery, I support and believe in Fran Drescher and her team. They want to make sure that every woman gets this opportunity by raising awareness and lobbying for increased funding and improvements in women's health, both on state and federal level.
