The Benefits of Flower Pollen to Prostate Health

Flower pollen has long been regarded as a nourishing superfood. Nearly all the nutrients that the human body requires can be found in flower pollen, making this a great addition to any nutritional regimen. This incredible flower pollen has also been found to manage troublesome symptoms related to the prostate – great news for men everywhere!

The prostate is an important part of the male reproductive system. This walnut-sized gland sits just below the bladder and contributes to the production of seminal fluids. Because the prostate increases in size as men age, prostate conditions in aging men are a common concern. As the prostate increases in size, it puts pressure on the urethra, which can result in a sense of urinary urgency and subsequently, more frequent trips to the restroom.

Pollen is the male seed that allows flowering plants to reproduce, but this substance also has natural anti-inflammatory and anti-DHT (Dihydrotestosterone) properties.  DHT is a hormone associated with male pattern baldness and the unwanted stimulation of prostate growth when levels are out of balance.  Pollen’s beneficial properties may help decrease swelling, improve urine flow, and prevent unhealthy prostate growth. Flower pollen may lessen the risk of harmful prostate conditions such as benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), the result of prostate gland enlargement. Consuming flower pollen as a natural agent for prostate conditions has not been shown to cause adverse reactions.

A 20171 study analyzed the role of flower pollen in patients suffering from chronic prostatitis/chronic pelvic pain syndrome. The study determined that the anti-inflammatory and anti-proliferative properties of flower pollen were able to significantly improve the quality of life of patients with no documented adverse reactions. These promising observations determined that pollen extract appears to be clinically beneficial with an excellent safety profile.

You may want to consider adding flower pollen to your daily superfood shake – however, we recommend that you obtain it only from a trusted and high-quality source!
