Newsletter: November 2008

Traveling through Central and Eastern Europe as a United States Public Diplomacy Envoy for Women's Health Issues has been one of the most rewarding and mind-expanding experiences of my life. No matter where you go, you'll always find stories that break your heart because late stage diagnosis of cancer affects us all, rich, poor, young, or old.

In the eight years since my diagnosis of uterine cancer, I have been blessed enough to share my story of survival with tens of thousands of women - from Beverly Hills to Bucharest - and helped them transform from patients into medical consumers. Women's health advocacy is a sisterhood that knows no borders. Read my most recent blogs to get all the deets on my trip. Warsaw

Now, I am in NYC for a press tour to share with you all my adventures abroad as a women's health ambassador. Be sure to tune in to Rachael Ray this Wednesday, November 26th, the day before Thanksgiving, to catch me in action with the queen of the kitchen, herself.

It's time to build female friendly societies globally through women's health issues. Lock elbows with members around the world in ensuring Stage 1 diagnosis for all women with cancer and get your loved ones to join today. Oh, and don't forget to follow me on Twitter and Facebook to get regular updates on my life as a women's health advocate and ambassador.

Early detection equals survival. Stage 1 is the cure!

Happy Thanksgiving,
