VIDEO: Healthy Lettuce Wrap Recipe by Taysteebites

Make sure all ingredients are organic and non GMO and use fresh ingredients whenever possible.

1/4 tsp fresh organic grated garlic
1/4 tsp fresh organic grated ginger
1 tsp organic toasted sesame oil
2 tbsp organic  low sodium soy sauce
1 tsp organic sriracha
1 tsp organic rice wine vinegar

1/2 organic white onion chopped
1/2 cup organic button mushrooms chopped
2 tsp organic non GMO vegetable oil
1 lbs organic ground chicken
1 fresh bulb of butter lettuce

1/4 cup of sliced organic cabbage slaw
1/4 cup organic roasted cashews
1/4 cup fresh organic cilantro
2 tbsp fresh organic chives chopped
1/2 fresh organic lime

1. In a small bowl, mix together sauce ingredients.
2. Saute onions for about 8 minutes on medium heat, then add in mushrooms and cook for another 8 minutes. Remove from pan.
3. Turn flame on medium high heat and add chicken. Use spatula to quickly break apart.
4. Cook meet through (about 8-10 minutes). -Make sure to clean or use a new spatula.
5. Once meet is cooked add in sauce, and onions + mushrooms. Mix thoroughly.
6. Separate lettuce leaves and add a few spoonfuls of meat to each lettuce cup.
7. Top with slaw, cashews, chives, cilantro and fresh lime
