House Passes Historic Health Care Bill

Hi dolls,
I'm sure you all have heard by now that  this past Saturday, Nov. 7th, the House of Represenatives passed "The Affordable Health Care for America Act" which passed with a vote 220 to 215.  This is significant in our nation's history.
Two Senate committees (Finance / Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP)) passed their versions of health reform earlier this fall.  The committees have been preparing a combined bill to introduce to the full Senate.  While final details of the combined bill are under review by the Congressional Budget Office (CBO), you can read about the similarities and differences between the House and Senate Finance and HELP Committees' plans HERE.

Be educated.  Be in the know.
Be well,
Fran
