Fran is such an inspiration. Cancer Schmancer keeps me informed as to what is happening in reaching the foundations goal of "stage one is the cure" It enables me to participate in something bigger than myself, but reminds me that one person can make a difference. My mother-in-law is an ovarian cancer survivor from the 60's going strong at 80 years old! My husband and mother are breast cancer survivors diagnosed early. Thankfully diagnosed early! - Mary Beth

I believe Cancer Schmancer is such a wonderful foundation because they really care and are determined to find cancer in the 1st most curable stage. I am so grateful that my mom was lucky enough to catch her cancer at stage one and now has been cancer free for 3 years. Although I barley remember it because I was 9 at the time I know how tough it was on her but she never gave up hope and that is why I believe foundations like Cancer Schmancer are so important because they bring hope to people who need it the most, and dedicate themselves to find cancer at the earliest stages so women have the best hope for survival. The more I learn of Cancer Schmancer the more impressed I become. Under Fran Drescher's guidance and passion her foundation is making a profound difference in the effort to bring awareness to the critical importance of the life saving discovery for cancer treatment in stage one. From my observation Fran continues to work tirelessly on many levels in her efforts to improve our medical community including helping to enact congressional legislation measures as well as producing and distributing her empowering and educational dvd with valuable step by step instructions for taking control of your body and health. She is also robustly active in creating positive results with her role as US Public Diplomacy Envoy for Women's Health Issues. I believe that Cancer Schmancer is truly and sincerely striving to save lives.
